We collect information you choose to give us directly through forms on this website:
- Volunteer sign-ups: name, email, phone number, ZIP code, and how you'd like to help
- Yard sign requests: name, email, and your Homer Glen address
- Contact form: name, email, and your message
- Email updates: your email address
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
02 Donations
Donations are processed by Anedot, a third-party payment processor, on their secure platform. When you donate, your payment information is collected and handled by Anedot under their own privacy policy and security standards — not by this website.
03 How we use your information
We use the information you provide only to operate the campaign, including to:
- Follow up with volunteers and coordinate campaign activities
- Deliver and track yard signs
- Respond to your questions and messages
- Send occasional campaign updates (only if you opt in)
- Comply with Illinois campaign finance reporting requirements
04 We do not sell your information
We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with other organizations for their own marketing. We may share information only with trusted service providers who help us run the campaign (such as our email and form tools), and only so they can perform those services for us.
05 Email and text messages
If you opt in to email updates, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. If you participate in our text-to-give program by texting our keyword, standard message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out.
06 Website analytics & cookies
We use privacy-respecting, aggregate website analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are most useful. These analytics do not identify you personally. If we add tools in the future that use cookies, we will update this policy and provide notice where required.
07 How we protect your information
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you share with us. The website is served securely over HTTPS, and donation processing is handled on Anedot's secure platform. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
